Dear Anderson School family:

As you know, Mr. Williams joined the Anderson Public Schools team as our superintendent last summer. As members of the Anderson School Board, we are extremely pleased with the leadership he has provided for our staff, students, families and community.

We are thrilled to share that, at our January board meeting, the board extended a three-year contract to Mr. Williams, following his annual evaluation. This will provide Anderson with much-needed stability and will allow us to pursue an even stronger vision for our district.

Mr. Williams has proven himself to be a dynamic leader and an excellent financial steward, including State-Aid Formula and Federal Programs management to bring more financial stability to our district. He has high expectations for students, for staff and for himself. He is willing to serve in any capacity, even driving a bus when it is needed. He is committed to helping students reach their greatest potential, and he is always present at school events to talk with residents and to cheer for the Trojans!

We know there are excellent days ahead for our district with Mr. Williams at the wheel. We appreciate his efforts and the support of the Anderson community.
