Transfer Student Enrollment

Anderson Public School welcomes transfer students. Students who reside outside of the district may apply for a transfer beginning June 1 by completing the Student Transfer Request Form using the link provided.

Transfer Guidelines

1. Transfers are contingent upon satisfactory discipline and attendance records.
2. Transfer requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Transfer requests will be reviewed during June, and approval or denial decisions will be made in July. Parents will be notified of the transfer status via email.
4. Once approved, a student may continue attending Anderson Public School from year to year, provided the transfer remains in good standing.
5. Transfer applications do not need to be renewed annually once a student has been approved.
6. Parents or guardians are responsible for providing transportation to the school or to a designated bus stop within the district.

Important Reminders for Completing the Transfer Request

• Transfer Request Forms for the 2026–2027 school year will not be available until June 1.
  Applications submitted before June 1 will be processed for the current school year.
• When completing the form:
  • “To District” should be listed as Anderson – Osage County.
  • “From District” should be the school district in which you reside.
